Electonic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) is an innovation of the Directorate General of Immigration of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights to facilitate the process of applying and paying for Visa on Arrival. Electronic visit-on-arrival (e-VOA) can be used by foreigners to perform activities such as:
1.Excursions
2.Government duty visits
3.Business talk visits
4.Purchase visit
5.Meeting visits
6.Transit
For applying and granting a Visa, foreigners can fill in the required information on the form provided on the molina.imigrasi.go.id page, then foreigners make payments through one of the available payment methods, then e-VOA will be sent via email after payment is confirmed, but if at the time of payment has been confirmed there is an error in filling out the form, especially in important parts, they must apply for a new Visa on Arrival because e-VOA cannot be revised however, if the error is in other parts such as gender or place of birth, foreigners are still allowed to use the e-VOA to enter Indonesia
As explained by the Subcoordinator of Public Relations of the Directorate General of Immigration, Achmad Nur Saleh “If foreigners make typos in important parts such as name, nationality, or passport number, they must apply for a new Electronic Visa on Arrival because the e-VOA that has been issued cannot be revised,” Wednesday (5/10/2023).
Errors in filling out forms are one of the obstacles that often occur to citizens who want to apply for a visa electronically, in applying for a visa electronically foreigners need to know other provisions that must be considered
- The processed e-VOA data cannot be changed.
- The information on the system must be the same as the passport.
- If it is found that the information on the e-VOA is not the same as the passport, the e-VOA is not valid for use.
- The system will not refund the money that has been paid.
